I began using sarcode remedies in my practice about three years ago. I quickly became fascinated with them. Then, I started working with Nicole and received multiple master classes on all things homeopathic sarcodes. She taught me so much about them, and now they are a significant part of my practice, especially working with complex chronic illness clients. So, what exactly are homeopathic sarcode remedies? Homeopathic sarcodes are remedies made from healthy tissue of organs, glands, secretions, and even hormones. They are prepared according to homeopathic principles, where the original substance is highly diluted and potentized to stimulate the body’s self-healing response. Sarcodes serve as energetic blueprints for the organs or functions, helping the body to regain balance. They are used in supporting drainage and detox, but also when there is considerable stress on an organ or system, and it needs that nudge to remember its functionality. Some examples of this may be: •Thyroidinum, which is made from healthy thyroid tissue. It can be used in those with Hashimoto’s, where antibodies affect thyroid tissue. Or in support of someone with a stressed and underactive thyroid while they are working through Epstein Barr or HHV6. •Adrenalinum is made from healthy adrenal tissue, which can be used for adrenal fatigue, stress resilience, and even circulatory issues. •Oophorinum, which is healthy ovarian tissue that helps regulate hormone function naturally, like menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances, and menopause. •We may give a lymph sarcode when lymphatic drainage issues contribute to immune system dysfunction. In cases of chronic illness where an organ has become sluggish or dysfunctional, sarcodes can be used for support. Aconite is a homeopathic powerhouse, and I consider it the “rapid onset” remedy. It is helpful for the sudden, rapid onset of any illness, especially in the middle of the night. This makes it a must-have for going back to school and even for traveling. Those middle-of-the-night wake-ups are hard enough, but having a remedy on hand to address the symptoms takes some of the worry out of the situation. Traveling can bring about anxiety, which is another hallmark of Aconite, as well as coming into contact with “bugs.” Aconite is the first remedy in my Natural First Aid Home Kit.
